ISDF Singleplayer Campaign, Mission 16 "Hole In One"

For those of you (and you know who you people are) still learning the ropes of Battlezone II: Combat Commander ™, especially the singleplayer campaigns, I have made one specific instructional video showing how to successfully deploy your military base at the EARLY game stage, without succumbing to the first few Scion attack waves. Again, as the title says, this is for ISDF Mission 16.  To keep the video at minimal file size, it is at a low screen resolution of 320x240 pels using an MP4 codec compressor in AVI format.  The compression does further degrade video quality, but this is usually the sacrifice made to reduce said file size.  There is no audio, which is something I had no control over at this moment, but that was also good, since that further reduced file size, due to no audio interleave overhead.  The video is quite viewably comprehendable, even at this low quality. File size is under 45 MB.

The video recording only shows the first few minutes, from after dropship has completed, to securing a frontal defensive foothold at the base deployment site, since once your defensive stance has been achieved, base stability is pretty good throughout this mission.  I have tried to keep the actions as straightforward (yes, that's me driving the first person view inside an ISDF N1A2-MBT Sabre hover tank) and as simple as possible, without too much movement (hey, I said I tried!).  To make things even more useful and umm, instructional, I have captioned (words near bottom of screen) practically every action I made to achieve success in defeating the early enemy attack waves.  Of course, this is only one scenario you can use.  Your mileage (or kilometers) may vary. The mission is at Hard skill level, at a screen resolution of 640x480, 16bpp (color resolution).  Those rookies who have played at about a month of BZ2 should already comprehend the menuing system and should then understand exactly what menus I am dropping down and using in this video. If requested, I may develop further videos in the future for learning the games I have, assuming I have free time to do that again, hehe. 'tis all good.    You can find a copy of the video at my gallery or here (for your convenience) >  http://www.technoidium.net/files/bzone_sp16a.avi   You must have the MP4 codec.  If you don't have it installed, search for it on the internet or try  contact me at . I will try to upload a hi-res version soon.
